An exclusive experience that will allow you to explore some of Sardinia's most crystal-clear waters and most fascinating beaches.
Flexibility and Customisation
A boat tour to the Maddalena Islands offers you a flexibility unique. The skipper, an expert in navigation and familiar with local weather conditions, will guide you to the best routes, guaranteeing a safe and unforgettable experience.
Thanks to the possibility of adapting the itinerary depending on sea conditions and your preferences, the tour will always be perfect, offering optimal navigation and stops in quiet bays, away from the crowds (obviously in high season there will be many more boats).
The Most Beautiful Coves in the Archipelago
The Maddalena archipelago is famous for its crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches and secret coves. During a boat tour, you will have the chance to explore these magnificent bays, each with its own uniqueness. Here are some of the most beautiful coves to visit:
Pink Beach (Budelli)
One of the most iconic beaches in the archipelago, famous for its pink sand, which owes its colour to microscopic fragments of coral and shells. The Pink Beach is protected and accessible only by sea, making it an exclusive and heavenly place.
Cala Corsara (Spargi)
This bay is known for its turquoise waters and fine sand, and is one of the most beautiful coves on Spargi. It is an excellent destination for swimming and snorkelling, surrounded by unspoilt nature.
Cala di Muro (Spargi)
A small, quiet bay with crystal-clear waters, ideal for a bit of relaxation and for diving or snorkelling. Its remote location makes it a perfect destination for those seeking tranquillity.
Cala Coticcio (Caprera)
Often called 'Little Tahiti', Cala Coticcio is a bay of rare beauty with crystal-clear waters and surrounded by granite rocks. It is one of the places most appreciated by visitors for its wild and unspoilt charm.
Cala Garibaldi (Caprera)
Another enchanting cove on the island of Caprera, named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, who lived there. Here you can enjoy a turquoise sea and a beach that invites you to relax.
Cala Spalmatore (Santo Stefano)
This cove is characterised by white sand and crystal-clear waters and is perfect for those seeking a quiet spot away from the crowds. It is an excellent destination for a stop-off during the tour.
Cala Sant'Andrea (Maddalena)
Located on the archipelago's main island, La Maddalena, this cove offers breathtaking scenery, with clear water and a tranquillity that makes it perfect for swimming or picnicking on the beach.
Cala Bianca (Magdalena)
A small bay with fine white sand and shallow waters ideal for snorkelling. Cala Bianca is a hidden corner, perfect for those seeking peace away from the crowds.
Boats
The boats used for tours to the Magdalena Islands vary according to requirements, but all offer a comfort exceptional.
The boats range from inflatable boats and motorboats to yachts larger sizes, to cater for all kinds of groups.
Regardless of the choice, all boats are equipped with modern facilities and ample space, ensuring comfortable and safe sailing.
In addition, you can choose the type of boat that best suits your budget, ensuring a day of luxury without compromise.
Suggested Ports of Departure
To optimise your tour and save time and costs, we recommend starting from Porto Rotondo (Costa Smeralda) or Cannigione.
In particular, Cannigione is an ideal choice, as it is only half an hour's drive from Porto Rotondo and is located just in front of the archipelago of La Maddalena. This allows you to reduce the navigation time to reach the islands and maximise your experience without sacrificing anything in terms of service quality.
Moreover, the port of Cannigione is well served, with parking facilities and all the necessary services to make the experience even more pleasant. Other possible ports of embarkation include Palau, but Cannigione is definitely the more strategic choice.
In addition to Cannigione o Porto Rotondo, there are also other ports of embarkation that can be considered:
Palau: It is one of the closest ports to the Maddalena archipelago and is often a preferred departure point for those in the north of Sardinia. Starting from the Costa Smeralda, it takes about an hour by car to reach Palau.
La Maddalena (main port): If you are already on the main island of the archipelago, you can leave directly from the port of La Maddalena, saving additional sailing time. Obviously, if you are not already on the island, this option is not advisable.

Day-Tours or Weekly Cruises
Boat tours to the La Maddalena Islands are not just limited to one-day excursions. If you want a longer, more immersive experience, it is possible to convert the tour into a real cruise weekly, where you can sleep on board and experience the archipelago in a completely different way.
During a cruise, you will have the opportunity to explore every corner of the archipelago, stopping at different islands and bays, enjoying the sunset at sea and waking up in the morning surrounded by nature. This option is ideal for adventure seekers who want a fully immersive experience.
A day-tour will still allow you to visit the most beautiful coves and experience the private boat in an exclusive setting.
Both options will guarantee you an unforgettable day of sea, nature and relaxation.
